Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas turned a year older on July 18 and her fans left no stone unturned to wish the global icon on social media. Even her colleagues from the industry like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Bhumi Pednekar and others took to their respective social media handles to wish the ‘desi’ girl.

Amongst everyone, veteran actress Neena Gupta’s birthday wish for Priyanka was quite a revelation. She shared a video and recalled how Priyanka inspired her in life.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the ‘Badhaai Ho’ actress revealed how she was once called for a film audition in Los Angeles. Since she was shooting for another film, she could only manage a 3-day break from her shooting schedule. She asked the makers to give her 10 days but they did not agree. Neena then wondered how she would manage flying to the US at such short notice and return immediately. In the video, she remembered watching Priyanka’s video where she was seen talking about the same situation. The ‘Dostana’ actress had to attend two functions in India and abroad.

Later, Neena decided to fly to the US and managed everything in just three days. Though she didn’t get the film, but she said that Priyanka inspires her a lot. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Happy birthday priyanka (@priyankachopra)”

Soon after Neena posted the video, director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari commented, “This one was very imp for you. I know how much you had prepped for this 😘🤗❤️ you inspire always neena mam’”

On the work front, Neena will be next seen in a special appearance in Ranveer Singh’s ’83.
