Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. It’s been a month since the 34-year-old actor left for his heavenly abode and his fans are fighting to seek justice in his death case. They have been demanding a CBI inquiry as they believe Sushant didn’t die by suicide.

Actor Shekhar Suman had also come forward and launched a ‘justice for Sushant Singh Rajput forum’. He even got support from Sushant’s fans on social media. But now he has decided to take a ‘backseat’ in Sushant’s death case.

Shekhar took to his Twitter handle and revealed as to why he has decided to take a ‘backseat’. In his tweet, he said that Sushant’s family has remained completely silent on the matter and he is feeling ‘uncomfortable’. He wrote, “Dear all, Thank you for making my voice strong all this while. Allow me to plz take a backseat now. since the family is completely silent on this, it’s making me very uncomfortable to go on. i guess its their prerogative and we all shld respect that.”

He further also said that he will be there behind everyone as a ‘silent force’. He wrote, “But i will be there behind all of you as a silent force. you have to just summon me and i will be there. i will be the happiest wen Sushant gets justice. Thank you each one of you. Thank you @Swamy39”

Shekhar further also clarified that he has not been threatened by anyone to take this step. “Let me make this very clear..ive not been threatened and i care a damn. im not backing out..i said im taking a back seat…there is a huge difference.im there but let the family come forward and give some statement.”

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is currently investigating his death case. His alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and others like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjana Sanghi have already recorded their official statements.
