Choosing to give a rest to all the trending controversial topics of discussion, the director simply tweeted his appreciation for her “genius acting” in the critically acclaimed film ‘Fashion’. Praising her instant transformation from a wreck to a Diva, he dubbed the shot as “Unforgettable.”

Apart from Kangana Ranaut claiming that certain members in the film industry were responsible for Sushant Singh Rajput choosing to end his life, director Shekhar Kapur made headlines when he shared that SSR was “let down” by certain people.

“I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. I wish I was around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours. #SushantSinghRajput,” he tweeted a day after the actor’s death on June 14.
