Following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide, a blame game is on in full swing in Bollywood. But with fans demanding justice for Sushant and industry insiders refusing to take names, a lawyer on Wednesday moved a criminal complaint against 8 persons, including – Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, in a local court regarding the actor’s death. The complainant claimed that these people conspired against the actor and didn’t let his movies release, thus forcing him to take his life which, he pleaded, amounted to murder. Interestingly, Bollywood’s ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut had been listed as a witness in the case.
The court had fixed July 3 as the next date of hearing.
That’s not all the trouble there is for Salman Khan. After ‘Dabangg’ filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap’s explosive social media post, accusing Salman and his family of sabotaging his career, we hear the Khans are not going to take this lying down and will opt to take the legal route. Besides claiming that the family had parted ways with the director professionally in 2012, they claimed that they didn’t know where all this was coming from. Salim, on the other hand, took a jibe at the filmmaker in an exclusive chat with Bombay Times and concluded saying, “Let him do whatever he wants, I am not going to waste time in reacting to what he says.”
The Mumbai Police is stepping in to do their bit to ensure justice is served in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. The police have reportedly recorded Sushant’s father statement where he revealed that he “wasn’t aware” that his son was being treated for depression. Meanwhile, latest reports claim that the police also recorded statements of nine people in SSR’s suicide case and are rumoured to even get Rhea Chakraborty and Shekhar Kapur’s statement as he recently tweeted about Sushant revealing to him how a lot of people let him down.
In another shocking incident, a fan of actor Sushant Singh Rajput also died by suicide. The 10th standard boy, from Bairley, Uttar Pradesh, was saddened by the actor’s tragic demise and took the drastic step. According to reports, he left behind a suicide note that allegedly read, “If He Can Do It Why Can’t I.”
The India-China border has triggered a wave of anger and unrest among B-town stars. Following the death of brave soldiers at the Galwan Valley, celebs from Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma and many other have taken to social media to send their condolences to families of martyred Bravehearts.
