Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspoken nature and her statements often get her into a lot of controversies. Today, the actress talked about mafias in Bollywood, nepotism and camps in the film industry during an interview with a news channel.

In one of her statements, she revealed that producer Aditya Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput had a big showdown. She shared that Sushant and Ranveer Singh had a contract with Aditya Chopra’s production house. Elaborating the same, the actress stated that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Sushant Singh Rajput as the lead in his film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela’. However, Aditya didn’t allow SSR and instead made Ranveer do the film. After that, SLB wanted to cast Sushant in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and he was chasing the ‘Kai Po Che!‘ actor for five years. But yet again, Chopra decided to let go Ranveer for the film and not Sushant.

She questioned that is this because the late actor was able to do ‘Chaplusi’ and is that the reason they sabotaged his career!

When the host asked what proof the actress has about the same. To which she replied that SLB has said it in his statement to the police which is out in public domain.

Meanwhile, the actress also stated that Sushant was one of the actors who supported her when she talked about nepotism.

On the work front, she was last seen in ‘Panga’ and will next feature in films like ‘Thalaivi’ and ‘Dhaakad’.

For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. His demise created quite a stir in Bollywood. Debates on nepotism, insider vs outsider, camps in the film industry have taken over the media.
