Sidharth Malhotra had recently extended financial support to as many as 200 Bollywood dancers. The actor had managed to transfer money directly into the accounts of the background dancers, who decided to thank the actor with a special video. Creating a mix of Sidharth Malhotra’s hit songs like ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Khadke Glassy’ and ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ – several dancers shot clips at home, which were then collaborate into a thank you video dedicated to the actor.
The pandemic has also hit Sidharth’s work as the actor was reportedly scheduled to start shooting for the remake of 2019 Tamil hit ‘Thadam’ in May. “Sidharth plays a double role for the first time in his career, a businessman and a small-time thief and gambler always looking to make a quick buck,” a source had earlier informed Mumbai Mirror. Vardhan Ketkar will mark his directorial debut with ‘Thadam’ remake.
Apart from this, Sidharth will also be seen in Vikram Batra’s biopic titled ‘Shershaah’. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, Sidharth has been paired opposite Kiara Advani in this venture. Sidharth will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Indra Kumar’s next, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.
