Amitabh Bachchan has been recuperating at a city hospital, after he tested positive for Covid-19 last Saturday. Along with Amitabh, Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive and was hospitalised. While he recovers from Covid-19, Big B continues to connect with fans from the hospital. Today the actor penned a note of gratitude for all those who have been praying for his good health.

“In happy times , in times of illness, you our near and dear, our well wishers, our fans have ever given us unstinting love , affection care and prayer .. we express our bountiful gracious gratitude to you all .. in these circumstances hospital protocol is restrictive , so individual responses are not possible .. but we see, read, hear all of you .. thank you ever,” Big B had shared.

In an earlier post, Amitabh Bachchan had dedicated a poem to the medical practitioners and shared, “pristine white their layered dress ; dedicated to serve they be ; god like incarnations they ; companions of the sufferer they ; erased they their ego have ; to us they have embraced in care ; they be the divine destination ; they fly the flags of humanity…”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya had also tested positive for Covid-19, but are in self quarantine, while Jaya Bachchan tested negative for the virus.
