Amitabh Bachchan has denied testing negative for Covid-19, after reports suggested that he had recovered. A source close to the veteran actor had confirmed to ETimes that Big B had not tested negative for Covid-19 and Amitabh Bachchan, who is an avid social media user, had also clarified the same on Twitter. The veteran actor was admitted to a city hospital on July 12, after he tested positive for Coronavirus.

Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted on the same day alongwith Big B. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya were also Covid positive but after being in home quarantine for a few days, they were also shifted to the hospital for further treatment. Jaya Bachchan had tested negative for Covid. Bungalows where the Bachchan family resides in Mumbai were soon sanitised by the BMC.

As Amitabh Bachchan undergoes treatment for Covid-19 at the hospital, he continues to be in touch with his fans. From posting gratitude messages on social media to penning his daily blog from the Covid ward of the hospital, Big B has kept up with his regular routine to connect with his extended family on the internet.
