The search for a muse is an inevitable part of every artist’s journey. Young photographer Aesana Bhuta found hers, when she did a photo shoot with Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon in November 2019.

The actress has made such an indelible impression on the 22-year-old that she can’t stop raving about the experience of working with her. Aesana tells us, “Raveena has in-depth knowledge about the technicalities involved in a shoot. It inspired me to put my best foot forward as a photographer, and challenged me to perform to the best of my ability. I was taken by surprise by her creative inputs; she has a knack to bring out the best version of art in an individual. She has a strong directorial vision, and is an epitome of humility and timeless grace. I look forward to working with her in future as well.”

Ask her how she prepared for the shoot and Aesana replies, “While working on the shoot with Raveena, I made it a point to ensure a sense of comfort. I also did all the final checks prior to her entry, to rule out any unnecessary delay. Like I do for every shoot, I worked on capturing pictures that reflected a balance between creative direction, mood and the play of lights in close coordination with the aesthetics involved.”
